Over 100 member attended
the April SOBOM luncheon and AGM held at JB's restaurant in Park Plaza Hotel –
Victoria. Everyone was greeted with a bucks fizz kindly sponsored by Albemarle
before sitting down to a fabulous lunch of salmon terrine followed by pork with
mustard mash and a surprisingly nice cafe au lait sauce finally polished off
with a strawberry cheese cake.
The accounts for the last
year were supplied to everyone which showed that we were in a healthy state. It
was highlighted to all members that we intended to move our bank account away
from Nat West and probably to Barclays.
Last year was a record year
for membership with over 170 members. Membership was due for renewal and forms
were given out.
Simon Harding said a few
words about Pat Kearly who is retiring after working with Theatre Breaks for
over 27 years. Gillian Guy also said a few words about her retirement after
working in the business for over 30 years.

Jill & Joe Davey had become the directors of London Theatre
Bookings.
