There was a great turn out for the first lunch arranged by the new committee voted in back in April. For one day in what feels like so many the sun managed to burn off the clouds and turn its attention to the members and guests out on deck. There was a welcome glass of Pimms sponsored by Albemarle of London which was just what the Dr ordered in the searing heat.
Chris from HMS President gave a few welcome drinks and was followed by Jonathan Brown from STAR who have an update to what they had been working on in recent months.
Then the more than 100 members and guests made there way outside to be served some amazing BBQ food. The more informal arrangement really worked with far more mingling and networking.
A huge thank you to HMS President for their hospitality, great food and service throughout the day and to the committee for their efforts in arranging such a fantastic day.
